Secret World Series 1: Marked
Kaylaina smiles as Austin lightly squeezes her fingers, her free hand playing with the long, soft grass. It is a warm spring morning and Kaylaina decided to take advantage of the first sunny, dry day they've had in a while to go lay out and watch the clouds. Austin hates it; he'd rather be enjoying the weather by playing sports with his friends. But he knows it'll make her happy. And of course, they won't be there long so he'll still be able to meet up with his friends after.
She turns towards him, her crystal blue eyes taking in his features. His pale pink lips and short dark hair create a contrast that seems to make his skin glow. She rol

Rift Series 1: Meet Kaylaina
Kaylaina sits on the bench at the bottom of the steps to Meridian, her feet tucked up beside her and her body lazily leaning against the warrior Rishad's. There is a carefully folded, and well cared for letter resting under her hip, pinned between her and the bench so it does not blow away in the breeze. Her crystal blue eyes scan the crowd gathered outside of the city with a content smile playing on her frosted lips. Her gaze stops on a few faces, those belonging to the people she has come to consider her friends since joining with the Black Sun. A very select few have come to mean even more to her than that, but she tries not to let herself

Rift Series 2: Dragons and Demons
Kaylaina stands tall, her metal armor burning against her skin, the air hot and dry from the fire invasion that swept the area for hours. Her hair is disheveled, her skin covered in blood, dirt and sweat. Nero paces back and forth at her feet, low, rumbled growls emitting from his chest, obviously feeling the adrenaline in the air.
To her right stands Caiden. To her left, a Guardian. In front of her lays a large dragon, his body covered in slashes from blades and scorches from magic, the result of the onslaught required to destroy him.
All she sees, however, is the last thing she saw before she died: her mother's blackened, dead body laying

Rift Series 3: Nero's Purple Heart
Kaylaina yawns and stretches before rolling over and nuzzling against Rishad. She had become used to waking up next to him every morning, the warrior usually still sleeping on one side of her while Nero rests on the other. She takes a deep breath, breathing in Rishad's familiar, comfortable scent before carefully slipping out of his arms and gliding most ungracefully to her feet.
Kaylaina walks over to the water, her steps staggered as her mind and body are still clouded by sleep. Not bothering to check if anyone is coming, as no one had been around in the few months they had been unofficially living on the small island, she strips her clo

Tournament of Secrets: A Debt Not Paid
1865 Bucharest, Romania
I sit up in bed, awakened in the middle of the night. It is a week after my father was killed and I have been having a hard time sleeping. Thirsty, I climb out of bed and head towards the kitchen. My mother's bedroom door is closed, which is odd. As I walk by it I hear a man's voice. It sounds unhappy, like when mother has to show me again how to wash the clothes correctly.
"I know you don't want to, Laura, but this is the fastest way to develop the bond required for the Calling."
I furrow my brow but keep walking to the kitchen. I know the voice. It is Mister Ionescu. He works for the government, though I am not su

Hello. My name is Francine and I'm a 19 year old Jersey girl.
I never plan out pictures. I don't have or work at a studio. I don't go out looking for pictures. I let the pictures find me. With that in mind, I guess you could say all my pictures are snapshots.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, but until recently, I never tried to pursue it. I'm currently a freshman in college trying to figure out what I'm supossed to do with the rest of my life, and photography is one of the roads I'm looking at right now.
Here, you'll find some of my work. Everything is done with a regular Sony Cybershot digital camera. Nothing special about i
